Matthew 24:37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
In Matthew 24:37-39 the Lord Jesus Christ compares Noah's generation with that which shall exist when He returns to set up His Millennial Kingdom at the close of the seven year Tribulation. In both instances the sinful behaviour of humanity is so utterly corrupt that judgement must come. In both instances the faithful are protected and rewarded, but the wicked and unrepentant are destroyed.
We wonder how much worse it could possible get in our day on this side of the Rapture, but the world has not yet reached its lowest level of wickedness just yet. Once the Church is removed, it does seem that "all Hell" will break loose.
